Attitude Adjustment<3

Kay, so this is a LOVE STORY.
Okay? Okay.
It's probably going to suck and I know, but I just wanted to try it on here so I could have some others read it and see how I can help my writing style.
I've written LOADS of stories - usually loves stories.

But this one, this one is different.
This is about a girl name Rebecca Morrison.
Who's best friend is Anisa Starr.
Anisa Starr is Jason Starr's cousin.
Jason Starr is a celebrity who needs an attitude adjustment.
So he stays with Anisa and her family at their California house for the summer.
But so does Rebecca.
What happens when the guy you hate becomes the guy you love?

Attitude Adjustment.

"What?!" I asked, "No. No, Anisa. You're lying."
"I swear to God."
"Him? Of all people?"
"He's my cousin, Rebecca!"
"I don't care of he's your freaking mother! I am not going to that summer house."
"But you have to."
"No I don't!"
"So you'll just stay home without any parental guidance all summer?"
"No! My mom is coming back in August..."
"Oh, come on, Rebecca. It's not that bad."
"It is that bad!"
Anisa. I am NOT going to a beach house with the Starr family this year.
Not the...other...relative of the Starrs.
Jason Starr.
He's like the new Justin Bieber.
Well, was.
Then he turned...bad. He just went bad. Began to curse all over the place. Trash his own fans, call them stalkers and curse them out when they got close to him. Just, bad.
So his royal highness had to stay with his stupid cousins for the summer.
And me.
For an "Attitude Adjustment".
Oh, yippie.
In this little place in California nobody cares about.
So nobody cares about me.
So nobody cares about Anisa.
So nobody cares about Jason.
"Anisa, you can't be serious."
"It's only an for an attitude adjustment."

Holy shizzz Jazzy. Nuff said.

I burst through the door, hauling my bags.
Anisa's summer house was huge.
Horse stables and a chicken coop in the yard, next to a beautiful lake and woods, numerous floors.
Anisa's family wasn't rich, though.
They were like my second family.
The same goes for my brother. Austin. We're like best friends.
Where was Austin?
"Hey Rebecca! I'm going in the backyard!"
There he was.
Austin was fourteen.
"Kay!" I shouted back.
Anisa and I began up the stairs with our bags.
"You know who is coming tomorrow." Anisa said, almost afraid to say it to me.
"I know." I said, pursing my lips so I didn't curse her out.
"It's just for an attitude adjustment." Anisa defended.
Pssh. Attitude Adjustment. That boy's attitude was never going to change.
As we got to the floor with the bedrooms, Anisa and I parted ways.
I walked upstairs and threw all my luggage on the bed of the room I usually had. It had an extra bed just in case, but nobody used it.
Pictures and decorations I personally put on the walls were still there from last year.
And the year before.
And the year before.
You get the point.
I sighed as I picked up a picture on the nightstand next to my bed.
It was me, Austin, Dad, and Jace.
Jace was my old best friend.
He left when I was nine.
Just, left me.
We were the best friends anyone could ever have.
Then he left me. He never even said goodbye.
C'mon, Rebecca, I shook my head, get over it. You were nine.
I sighed and walked back downstairs at the sound of Angelina Starr, Anisa and her three brothers' mom. "Guys! Who wants breakfast!"
A chorus of "me!"s came flooding down the stairs as we all sat down at the long dining room table.
Pancakes.
"You are the best cook ever, Ange." Austin said with a smile, picking up his pancake.
Mine had strawberries on them.
My favorite.
"Thanks, Angelina!" I said as I began to scarf down the pancakes.

By the end of the day, I dressed in the first thing I pulled out - teddy bear pj's.
Whatever, it was just the Starrs.
I sighed.
Jason was coming tomorrow.
Might as well get the most peaceful sleep I'll get all summer tonight.
I looked out of my window, at the brightest star in the sky.
That was my dad. I knew it.
"Goodnight, daddy." I whispered, closing my eyes.
Maybe this summer won't be as bad as I think.
Maybe I'm wrong.
